Cade Causey M.A.

I’m Cade Causey, a pre-licensed counselor and Knoxville native. I specialize in OCD, anxiety, men’s mental health, and marriage counseling. My own faith shapes how I care for people—with compassion, honesty, and hope—and I’m glad to integrate faith into counseling when clients desire it.

I use evidence-based approaches like ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), cognitive-behavioral methods, and narrative work to help people strengthen relationships, face their fears, and gain joy in their lives.

I’m passionate about working with individuals with OCD because I’ve seen how powerful the right tools can be—how much freedom comes from realizing your unwanted thoughts don’t define you. Joy can be possible for you again!

I became a counselor after seeing how quietly people struggle with worry, pressure, and self-doubt. My goal is to help clients slow down, understand what’s really happening inside, and make meaningful, lasting change.

When I work with men, I focus on helping them navigate pornography addiction, anger, and isolation in ways that build confidence and connection instead of burnout.

In marriage counseling, I help couples learn to communicate clearly, rebuild trust, and reconnect on a deeper level—so they can enjoy each other again, not just coexist.

At the core, my work is about helping people feel grounded, capable, and connected again—both within themselves and in their relationships.

I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Johnson University and my undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Outside the office, I’m a husband and dad who loves sports and a good cup of coffee!
